The Concrete Resistivity Meter is a high-precision instrument specifically designed for corrosion detection in reinforced concrete structures. It rapidly measures concrete resistivity using a Wenner array sensor (50mm spacing), helping engineers assess the likelihood of reinforcement corrosion. It is widely used for durability testing of concrete structures such as bridges, tunnels, and buildings.
The corrosion of steel reinforcement in concrete is an electrochemical process; the lower the resistivity of the concrete, the higher the risk of corrosion. A concrete resistivity meter can accurately measure resistivity values, thereby evaluating the concrete's corrosion resistance, determining the degree of steel reinforcement corrosion, and providing a scientific basis for structural maintenance.
The concrete resistivity meter uses the Wenner four-electrode method with an electrode spacing of 50 mm. The measurement unit is kΩ·cm. Based on the resistivity range, the corrosion resistance of concrete can be quickly determined.
