Description:
The contact heat resistance test device is developed in accordance with the EN 702 test standard and simultaneously meets the requirements of the domestic AQ 6103-2007 standard for the contact heat resistance test of welder protective gloves. The test results can display contact temperature, start measurement time, threshold time, etc. The principle is that under the set contact temperature, the time it takes for the protective fabric to rise by 10℃ from the initial temperature while in contact with the heating column under a pressure of 49N is measured. This time is called the threshold time, and the length of this time is used to evaluate the thermal protection performance of the protective fabric.
Application: Used for ISO12127-2:2015 protective clothing impact resistance and contact heat protection performance test.
Working principle: The steel cone and the steel cylinder in it are placed in a heating furnace and heated to 600°C. After heating, the steel cone is placed on the device above the calorimeter and the sample. When the magnetic switch is triggered, the steel cylinder falls vertically on the sample surface. The calorimeter records the starting temperature, the highest temperature, and the maximum temperature difference. Before and after the test, the calorimeter needs to be adjusted to 20°C with a cooling and heating unit. The software performs control, calculation, and standardized evaluation.
Performance characteristics:
1. The heating body is made of high-temperature resistant metal material, and the contact surface diameter is ¢25.2±0.05 mm.
2. The heating range of the heating body is from room temperature to 500℃, and the human-machine interface can display in real time.
3. The contact surface of the calorimeter is ¢25±0.05×D5±0.02mm, and the temperature measurement range is not less than 500℃;
4. Contact force: 49N, contact speed: 5mm/s, the calorimeter is controlled by a servo motor, and can automatically rise and fall. The program automatically completes the entire test process.
5. The heating body platform can move parallel to the left and right, which is convenient for sample loading and ensures the safety of the operator.
