Limited Oxygen Index Tester Product Introduction :

 

Oxygen index tester: It is an instrument used to determine the oxygen concentration (volume percentage) required by polymers during combustion according to ISO 4589-2 and ASTM D2863. The oxygen index value of a polymer is the minimum oxygen volume percentage in the oxygen-nitrogen mixture required for the substance to maintain combustion of 50 mm or a combustion time of 3 minutes after ignition. The instrument has a simple structure and is easy to operate. It can be used as a means of identifying the combustion performance of a compound, or as a related research tool to gain a better understanding of the combustion process of a polymer. This instrument is suitable for testing the combustion performance of materials such as plastics, rubber, and foams. Its measurement results are accurate and reproducible.
