Cable Fire Resistance Tester Product Introduction:
The fire tester's performance requirements, including fire resistance, water spray fire resistance, and mechanical fire resistance tests, are applicable to mineral insulated cables with rated voltages up to 450/750V, ensuring they maintain circuit integrity for extended periods under fire. This complies with the British fire-resistant cable standard, BS6387, IEC 60331-1,-2,-11,-21,-23,-25, BS 8491 "Specification for performance requirements for cables intended to maintain circuit integrity under fire conditions."

Wire and Cables Circuit Integrity Tester Technical Parameters:
  • The combustion rack is cabinet-style, with fire-resistant and impact-resistant brackets adjacent to each other, providing convenient operation and an aesthetically pleasing appearance.
  • Burner: 500mm ribbon-type blowtorch (with venturi mixer). Burner holes are arranged in three staggered rows, with a hole diameter of φ1.32mm and a center distance of φ3.2mm.
  • Fire-resistant bracket: Consists of two metal rings, approximately 300mm apart. The inner diameter of the metal ring supporting the test is approximately 150mm.
  • Fire-Resistant Impact Test Stand:
    • For IEC60331-1 specimens with an outer diameter exceeding 20 mm, the impact test ladder consists of a steel frame with two central vertical steel members that can be adjusted left and right.
    • For IEC60331-2 specimens with an outer diameter not exceeding 20 mm, the test wall consists of a heat-resistant, non-combustible non-metallic material securely fastened to two horizontal steel support rods.
  • Sample applied voltage: AC 100V-1000V, adjustable
  • Sample short-circuit breakdown current: 2A
  • Sample holding current: 100-260mA, adjustable
  • Three-phase transformer: 380V, 9kVA
  • Specimen short-circuit or open-circuit will stop the flame supply and cut off the voltage, and the software will display a fault message
  • Flame supply time: Adjustable from 0 to 999 minutes
  • Two φ1.5mm thermocouples and a corresponding thermometer for flame correction display flame temperature
  • Gas source control and regulation: Air flow rate is adjustable from 20 to 200 L/min using a mass flow meter; propane flow rate is adjustable from 2 to 20 L/min using a mass flow meter
  • Control method: Computer software controls the operation, monitoring current, voltage, gas flow rate, test results, and graph printing during the test
