Burning behaviour of Bunched Cables EN50399 bunched cable heat release test equipment
Scope of application of Burning behaviour of Bunched Cables EN50399 :
Applicable to the combustion performance test of cables and optical cables used in construction projects.
The test can obtain the following characteristics of cables or optical cables under specific combustion conditions:
--Flame spread (FS);
--Heat release rate (HRR);
--Total heat release (THR);
--Smoke production rate (SPR);
--Total smoke production (TSP);
--Flaming growth rate index (FIGRA);
--Burning droplets/particles
Burning behaviour of Bunched Cables EN50399 Main Features:
1. The Burning behaviour of Bunched Cables fire resistance tester is designed in accordance with the EU standard EN50399:2011 and meets the CPR certification promoted by the EU in accordance with the EN50575-2014B standard.
2. Analyzer: The oxygen analyzer adopts the Siemens brand, and the whole machine is imported. Carbon monoxide and carbon dioxide use German and Swiss sensors and modules respectively.
3. Operating system: The powerful background computing database can collect and process data in real time, making it truly fool-proof. It can collect and record the oxygen consumption of combustion, the carbon dioxide generation of combustion, the light transmittance of the smoke in the exhaust pipe, the heat release rate (HRR), the total heat release (THR), the combustion growth rate index (FIGRA), the smoke production rate (SPR) and other technical parameters in real time.
4. The combustion chamber adopts a square steel structure, the inner wall is stainless steel, painted with black corrosion-resistant paint, the middle uses thermal insulation cotton with a heat transfer coefficient of 0.7W·m-2·K-1, and the outer wall is stainless steel. Equipped with a steel ladder to the top of the combustion chamber, and a square guardrail is installed on the top of the chamber to facilitate roof maintenance equipment and improve safety.
5. Test chamber: It is a self-supporting box with a width of (1000±50) mm, a depth of (2000±50) mm and a height of (4000±50) mm. The back wall and both sides of the test chamber are made of thermal insulation material with a heat transfer coefficient of about 0.7W.m-2.K-1. There is a tempered glass window on the door, which can observe the indoor test situation at any time.
6. Installation of the sample: It is hoisted by an electric hoist.
7. Safety protection: When it is found that the sample is completely non-flame retardant, a mandatory fire extinguishing device is installed.
8. Air introduction fan: It is a variable frequency speed control fan, and the air supply is automatically controlled by a computer.
9. Steel ladder type: Commonly used steel ladder: width (500±5), height (3500±10) mm; material is USU304 stainless steel. Special steel ladder: A non-combustible calcium silicate back plate is added to the back of the common steel ladder. The installation requirements of the sample are the same as those of the common steel ladder.
10. The upper end of the box is equipped with an electric hoist and a bracket for lifting the steel ladder; it is convenient for the sample to be installed on the steel ladder on the ground, and then the steel ladder and the sample are lifted and installed on the fixed device; in terms of operation, the sample is easy to load.
11. Sampling system composition: It consists of a sampling tube, a smoke filter, a cold trap, a drying column, a pump and a waste liquid regulator, which can ensure the effective collection of flue gas samples and absorb the exhaust gas.
12. Smoke filter: The gas generated by combustion is filtered by the filter in multiple stages to achieve the particle concentration level required by the analytical instrument. The multi-stage filter adopts the Japanese Fuji brand. The filter head is composed of solid PTFE, and the internal is a 0.5um PTFE filter material.
Installation requirements of Burning behaviour of Bunched Cables EN50399:
Machine use space | 11m (L)*7m(W)*5.5m(H) (including control room, sample preparation area, gas room, etc.) |
Control room construction | 3m(L)*3m(W)*2.8m(H) (responsible for the purchaser) |
Machine power | AC380V, three-phase five-wire system; power: >15kw |
Safety protection devices | Power overload, short circuit protection, and control circuit overload protection. |
