In the past 20 years of practice, cables for coal mines have undergone a transformation from non-flame retardant to flame retardant. Especially since the promulgation and implementation of the test method and judgment rules for the flame retardancy of flame retardant cables for coal mines (MT 818-2009, MT 386-2011), the flame retardant performance of cables for coal mines has been effectively controlled and improved.
The load combustion test machine for mining cables is manufactured according to the standard MT 386-1995 "Test method and judgment rules for flame retardancy of flame retardant cables for coal mines", and is designed and manufactured to test the combustion characteristics of MT 818-2009 "Cables for coal mines" under overload conditions. The shell of the test box is made of stainless steel plate, which has beautiful color and high fastness. The upper and lower structures of the test chamber and the electrical control system are convenient for operation. Applicable to the flame retardancy test of flame retardant cables and flame retardant cable joints for coal mines. When the cable core reaches 204℃ under high current operation, a flame of a certain intensity and time is applied to the cable to determine the flame retardancy of the cable sheath and insulation materials under this state, the material's high temperature resistance and other indicators.

Structural features:

1. The box body is sheet metal spray-painted, beautiful and corrosion-resistant; extra-large transparent observation window.
2. The internal fixtures are all made of SUS304 stainless steel, beautiful and corrosion-resistant.
3. Overall size: 1800*600*1870mm; greater than 0.5m³.
4. The inner diameter of the burner is a brass burner of ¢9.5±0.5mm, about 102mm long, with an air adjustment hole.
5. The height of the blowtorch is adjustable, and the angle of the blowtorch is 90°.

3. Needle valve imported from Japan, accurately controls gas flow and flame height. The inner flame height is 75±5mm, and the outer extension is 125±10mm.
4. Imported brand pressure gauges and pressure regulating valves accurately control gas pressure.
5. The imported blowtorch from the United States can accurately control the flame height and combustion heat.

6. The blowtorch can be freely evacuated from the sample combustion area.

Electrical control system:

1. When the system evacuates the blowtorch, it automatically cuts off the current passing through the specimen.
2. Manually control the load disconnection.
3. Test time reminder device; remind the experimenter to evacuate the blowtorch when the burning time is 1min.
4. Load current: 10~3000A. (Note: When doing the maximum 300 square millimeter cable test specified by the standard, only single-core test can be performed) The handle manually sets the current.
5. Temperature measurement range: K-type thermocouple 0~1300ºC; the temperature meter equipped with the thermocouple has a temperature accuracy of ±0.1ºC; accuracy level 1.
6. All parameters are digitally displayed.
7. Timer range: 0~9999s (standard requires 4min) When the temperature reaches 204ºC, a prompt is issued and the flame is automatically cut off.
