Descripción de producto
Aviation Material Combustion Test Chamber
Product Overview:

The FAA Aviation Material Combustion Test Chamber is a flame-retardant performance testing device specifically designed for non-metallic materials used in aircraft cabins. This equipment strictly adheres to the relevant testing standards of the U.S. Federal Aviation Administration (FAA) and has also obtained domestic civil aviation airworthiness certification approval, making it an Aviation Material Combustion Test Chamber that combines international authority with domestic compliance.

This equipment can simultaneously meet the FAA's vertical, horizontal, 45°, and 60° insulated wire combustion test modes and is suitable for flame-retardant performance assessment of non-metallic materials such as aircraft interior trim, seat fabrics, thermal and sound insulation layers, and electrical wires and cables. Whether used for type approval or for quality control during the production process, this combustion chamber is an indispensable core piece of equipment in aerospace materials laboratories.

Working Principle:

The Bunsen burner inside the chamber is ignited by an automatic ignition device, and the flame is precisely applied to the material sample in the sample holder according to a set time. The system automatically records the afterflame time, dripping time, and damage distance, thereby objectively determining the flame retardancy rating and combustion behavior of the material.

Aviation Material Combustion Test Chamber with FAA FAR Part 25 Appendix F 1

Key Features:
  • Multi-functional: Integrates four combustion test modes: vertical, horizontal, 45°, and 60°, fully covering the requirements of FAA FAR Part 25 Appendix F and CCAR-25 Appendix F Part I.
  • High-precision control: Combustion/afterflame/dripping time is no less than 90s, with timing accuracy up to 0.1s; angle accuracy is better than ±0.2°, and flame height adjustment accuracy is ±0.1mm.
  • Automatic trigger recording: Timing is automatically triggered by a proximity switch after the burner is in place, reducing human error and ensuring data traceability.
  • Dual temperature calibration system: Equipped with two sets of flame height gauges (843℃ (38mm flame) and 954℃ (76.2mm flame) and thermocouple pyrometers, flame stability is ±5℃, meeting stringent airworthiness calibration requirements.
  • Safety and convenience: Built-in exhaust device, lighting system, large transparent observation window, and equipped with methane gas detection and automatic gas shut-off device to ensure operator safety.
  • Compliance Guarantee: Fully compliant with domestic standards such as CCAR-25 R4, HB5469, HB5470, and HB 6167.14-2014, helping civil aircraft projects successfully pass airworthiness reviews.
